RALPH CRAM, CFA CRE

With over 20 years of experience financing and acquiring complexcommercial real estate properties across all product types and geographies, Ralph leads Danbe’s capital market solutions and loan origination efforts in the Midwest. Ralph has underwritten, acquired or financed over $1.6 billion of real estate related assets including master planned communities, mixed-used developments, coal and gravel operations, land-based entertainment, office, hospitality, apartments and retail projects during his career. He has substantial experience with structured real estate financial transactions including public/private partnerships, synthetic net leases, New Market tax credits, tenancy-in-common syndications and leasehold positions.

Ralph also has an extensive background with real estate operating companies such as institutional funds, REITs and public reporting real estate partnerships. He was Co-Founder and Chief Investment Officer for a private REIT, Theatreplex Entertainment Properties. Recently as Vice President of Finance of the Bond Companies, Ralph was responsible for over $200 million of debt and equity financing for various projects and acquisitions. In addition, during his career, he has assisted in various corporate transactions involving movie theatre and restaurant chains, hospitality companies and property management firmsin Latin America, the Caribbean, Mainland U.S. and Hawaii.

Ralph holds a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) and Counselor of Real Estate (CRE) designation and is a licensed Real Estate Broker in the State of Illinois. Ralph is a member of the CFA Society of Chicago and the CFA Institute. He received a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from Kalamazoo College and a Master of Science degree inReal Estate Appraisal and Investment Analysis from the Wisconsin School of Business, U.W - Madison.
